Endodontic masters students at UC Dental Hospital undergo supervised clinical training. This involves treating patients within the clinic under the supervision of experienced endodontic practitioners.
The range of cases we can treat includes primary cases and retreatment cases. The intention is for them to develop their clinical skills as they advance through the programme.
The initial process involves a consultation appointment. A detailed history and examination will take place and a diagnosis made. You will then be given a comprehensive treatment plan. Each student is responsible for the patient journey from consultation to treatment.
Unbelievable treatment, unequaled care
Treatment is performed over 1 or 2 appointments depending on the case complexity.
Our student will place a core restoration as part of their treatment plan. You will then be returned to your local dentist for definitive restoration.
Patients costs are subsidised to reflect the fact they are being treated by postgraduate student.
